EN. Born in Italy, Simona Bonazzi arrived in Paris at the age of twenty to start a modelling career. Quickly, her artistic tendencies led her to join the Christian Chauveau institute, a famous establishment specialising in make-up for the cinema, theatre and fashion industry. 

It is in this context that Simona, wanting to keep shots of some of her favourite work, started to photograph her make-up jobs. She then decided to learn the fundamentals of photography eventually becoming a professional photographer.

A few years later, while she was waiting for the birth of her first child, Simona realized that she needed to immortalize this important moment in the life of a woman. Burgeoning belly, births, first smiles and infinite moments of tenderness…. She then started to photograph her pregnant friends or blossoming young women, until it became her specialty. 

But once again she wanted to push the boundaries of creativity further, to work with children, to record their energy, to let them fully express themselves. That was the birth of the totally new concept that she would call: I'M THE ARTIST

In addition to her European clients, Simona takes the time to participate in charity events associated with women and

children. She has recently worked with associations such as BIG Against breast cancer, The Women’s Foundation, The Red Cross, les Petits Riens and Paris Tout P’tits…

Simona travels on a regular basis and sets up a temporary studio; this allows her to create her works in Bruxelles, Paris, Genève, Megève, Dubai, Londres.

FR. Née en Italie, Simona Bonazzi arrive à Paris à vingt ans pour y débuter une carrière de mannequin. Rapidement, ses goûts artistiques l’amènent à intégrer l’institut Christian Chauveau, établissement renommé spécialisé dans le maquillage pour le cinéma, le théâtre ou la mode.
C’est dans ce contexte que Simona, souhaitant conserver des clichés de certaines de ses réalisations favorites, commence à prendre en photo ses maquillages. Elle décide alors d’apprendre tous les rouages de la photographie jusqu’à devenir une photographe professionnelle.
Quelques années plus tard, alors qu’elle attend son premier enfant, Simona réalise qu’il lui faut immortaliser cette période essentielle dans la vie d’une femme. Ventre qui s’arrondit, naissances, premiers sourires et moments de tendresse infinie… elle commence alors à photographier ses amies enceintes ou de jeunes mamans épanouies, jusqu’à en faire sa spécialité.
Mais une fois de plus elle souhaite pousser plus loin la créativité, travailler avec les enfants, capter leurs énergies, les laisser totalement s’exprimer. C’est la genèse d’un concept inédit qu’elle nommera : I’M THE ARTIST.

Outre ses clients européens, Simona prend également le temps de participer à des soirées caritatives tournées vers les femmes et les enfants. Récemment, elle a collaboré avec des associations telles que BIG Against breast cancer, The Women’s Foundation, la Croix Rouge, les Petits Riens ou encore Paris Tout P’tits…  

Régulièrement, Simona voyage et crée un studio éphémère qui lui permet de réaliser ses oeuvres à Bruxelles, Paris, Genève, Megève, Dubai, Londres.
